Triopetra

There will be always some curious desperados who love adventures
and who'd like to move their butts, drive long, curly narrow streets,
decrypting the maps to visit the very pearl of the southern coast. And always there will more of the lazy ones who prefer easy going relaxing time in max. half an hour walk from the hotel and to avoid stress with seeking for distant, unknown spots. And good :)

Triopetra means: 3 rocks

SMALLER TRIOPETRA:
two tavernas, little marina,
covered sides from open see and direct wind,
Smile!

Hungry? Grilled octapus, tarama salata, beans, salads, saganaki, potates, stuffed mushrooms, etc..

wonderful sandy bottom
Lot of Greeks who know where is right place to spend free day

"BIG" TRIOPETRA:
huge open space, wide and long, sandy bottom and beach tavernas.
Don't go if you have agoraphobia :P

Triopetra is not only about amazing water, sand, great tavernas and quietness.
Many people go there to practise YOGA and call Triopetra: retreat because of incredible energy of that aera.
In the neighborhood  there are few places for staying, where they offer e.g. workshops, like here: Yogarocks

Mochlos - north coast

If you'd like a break, few quiet days or just lovely afternoon and a great meal, go to Northern Coast direction East, pass Agios Nikolaos but before Sitia turn to MOCHLOS.
Little fisherman village which does not pretend to be anything else.
Small, cute, lovely, peaceful.

Forget about shops with made-in-china greek souvenirs or
"fancy" boutiques temptating clients with signs: "we speak..... your language".
Take you time and enjoy.

Tavernas serve splendid food. Fresh, simple, tasteful.
This kind of homemade stuff, traditional, using family recepies.
QUESTIONS?!? Tarama salad=red fish roe, grilled octapus and local olive

best shrimps ever
